In-person worship will take place in the Shiloh gym Sunday, July 5th. The service will begin at 10 AM. We will continue to meet in the gym for the near future.
Please observe the following guidelines for the well-being of the community. These come by way of our insurance company, our trustees, and general church guidelines.
Please wear a face covering or mask. The experience of worship is different from the experience of shopping. When we go into a retail establishment, we move around and we’re generally in and out. In worship, we stay in one place for a longer period of time. While wearing a face covering may seem an imposition, we wear these coverings to protect others in our community. 10-15% of people who have the COVID-19 virus are asymptomatic, which means that they do not show symptoms while being infected by the virus and possibly infecting others.
Please enter the gym by the front door or the back walkway entrance. Other portions of the church will be closed.
We will operate sanitizing machines in the gym Saturday afternoon and again after the service. For your health, do not enter the gym when these machines are operating. Signs will be posted on the gym doorways when these machines are working.
Following health guidelines, we will not have a choir or congregational singing for the time being. All accounts of the COVID-19 virus warn that singing spreads droplets farther than our normal speech. David Watson will play hymns and other music for worship.
